Privacy Policy for Poker PayOut

Poker PayOut ("the App") is a poker buy-in and payout calculator published by Solut. This policy explains what information the App handles, how it's used, and your choices.

The App does not require an account, sign-up, or login.
Session data (player names, buy-ins, chip counts) stays on your device unless you host or join a Room over local Wi-Fi.
The App shows ads via Google AdMob, which may collect device and advertising identifiers as described below.
You can clear all app data at any time using the in-app Reset button, or by uninstalling the App.

Information Stored On Your Device

The App saves the following data locally on your device only, using standard on-device storage:

Player names, buy-in counts, and chip counts you enter for a session
Your game settings (chip-to-cash conversion ratio, currency symbol)
A randomly generated device identifier, not tied to your name, email, or any account, used only to distinguish devices when syncing a Room

None of this data is sent to us or to any server we control. It is not used for analytics, profiling, or advertising by the App itself.

Local Wi-Fi "Room" Feature

When you use Host Room or Join Room, the App broadcasts and connects directly to other devices on the same local Wi-Fi network using standard local network discovery (mDNS/Zeroconf) and a local WebSocket connection. Session data is transmitted only between devices on that local network — it is never sent over the internet or to any external server.

This feature requires Android location and nearby-devices permissions because Android requires them to perform local network device discovery. The App does not use your location for any other purpose and does not track or store your geographic location.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, general device information, and ad interaction data in order to serve and measure ads. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not by us directly:

You can review your advertising identifier and manage ad personalization in your device's Google settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

Permissions the App Requests

INTERNET — required to load and display ads
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE — required for local Wi-Fi Room hosting/joining
NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES — required by Android for local network device discovery (declared as not used for location)
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION — required by Android to perform local network scanning (mDNS); not used to determine or store your actual location
VIBRATE — used for haptic feedback on certain actions

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not require any personal information to function.

Data Deletion

Because all session data is stored locally, you can delete it at any time by tapping Reset in the App, or by uninstalling the App, which removes all locally stored data from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date above.
